Wilmer Valderrama and his fiancée Amanda Pacheco posed on the red carpet on Wednesday at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Encanto at the El Capitan Theater.

The 41-year-old NCIS actor wore a gray checkered suit over a white patterned top and brown shoes.

Pacheco, 30, wore a backless red dress with red sandal heels and a matching clutch. She had her blond locks pulled back and parted during the glamorous outing.

The Miami native voices the character Augustín Madrigal in the Disney production, which also features the voices of Stephanie Beatriz, María Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo and Diane Guerrero.

Valderrama, who played Fez in That ’70s Show, and Pacheco became parents earlier this year when they welcomed their daughter Nakano in February.

The couple said on Instagram in a joint statement: “Life is an ever evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light…often angels are sent to show us the way and that we could be more… straight from heaven we welcome our first daughter.’

He told People in March about how a trip to Japan inspired him and Pacheco to choose Nakano as their daughter’s name.

“Amanda and I traveled the world in our first year of our relationship,” he said. “We just decided to plunge into the deep end, so we traveled the world. And one of those big trips we made was to Japan.

“There was something very spiritual about traveling there and really understanding the culture, to take it in, the spirituality of it all. It really touched us. That trip was just so beautiful and eye-opening.’

He said they researched the names of ancient Japanese warriors and found the name of the female samurai Takeko Nakano.

“Nakano became something that felt strong, felt unique, felt different,” he told People. “I thought what a cool, fun topic for our daughter to have as she gets older.

“But also the respect and the heritage, and the tribute to one of those beautiful moments when my fiancé and I said ‘I love you’ for the first time. To commemorate that trip to Japan with our first labor of love.’

The couple, who first entered a romantic relationship in April 2019, announced their engagement in January 2020.
