Actor Wilmer Valderrama, 39, and model girlfriend Amanda Pacheco, 28, have taken their relationship to the next level!
After eight months of dating, Wilmer popped the question to Amanda on a beach in La Jolla, a community in San Diego.
Along with posting a photo of Valderrama on bended knee, Amanda showed off her huge pear-shaped diamond ring in another snap. She captioned the photos, “’It’s just us now’ 01-01-2020.”
Amanda also shared the news on her Instagram, adding, “Going into the new year like..”
After hearing about their engagement posts, Maria Bello wrote, “Congratulations my friends! Your union is a gift to the world! ❤️.”
Eva Longoria responded with a bunch of clap emojis.
A week before his proposal, Amanda posted a PDA pic, writing, “🌲❤️My Family, health, happiness and love, the greatest gift of all (and being in the trees con mi mono)❤️🌲#merrychristmas#allineed.”
Last month, Wilmer praised Amanda on Instagram, writing, “#TBT to one of the most beautiful #thanksgiving dinners I’ve ever had… so much to be thankful for. Thank you to my amazing lady, you completely redefined the night.. your from scratch game is strong.. haha 😉😜.”
The couple went public with their relationship in July, attending the Vitamin A runway show during Miami Swim Week.
In May, Wilmer and Amanda sparked romance rumors after they were spotted several times in Los Angeles. A source told E! News, “Wilmer always opens the door for Amanda and pays the bill. He definitely wants to make sure she feels taken care of. Even if they are just doing simple things, they have a lot of fun and are always smiling.”
At the time, another source told Us Weekly that they were “casually dating.”
The insider noted that Wilmer’s ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato approved of his new lady, saying, “Demi knows about [Amanda] and is being equally as supportive as Wilmer has been of her recent relationships… Wilmer is still wrapped up in Demi and that’s why they’ve always been so off and on and have continued their friendship as well as Wilmer’s relationship with Demi’s family.”
Wilmer was there for Demi when she suffered an overdose last year; he was photographed visiting her at the hospital after the news broke.
Wilmer and Demi called it quits in 2016 after six years together.
Over the years, Valderrama has also dated Mandy Moore, Minka Kelly and Lindsay Lohan.
